Overview:

S.S. Engineering Bag Lifting Top Discharge Centrifuge is designed for efficient solid-liquid separation and faster batch discharge. It features a dynamically balanced basket with a filter bag that retains the solids during operation. The filter bag is lifted using a chain pulley either manually or with a motorized mechanismallowing for quick, effortless discharge of the solid cake, significantly reducing labor and cycle time.

This centrifuge operates on a three-point suspension system and is under-driven, offering superior stability and long service life.

Main Components:

Bearing and Shaft

• Heavy-duty bearings are selected to endure vibrations and centrifugal forces.
• Bearings are housed in specially designed, grease-packed housings to ensure long, maintenance-free performance.
• The shaft is manufactured from suitable, high-strength material and is independently balanced without the basket for precision alignment.

Basket

• Fabricated with adequate thickness to withstand the high centrifugal forces.
• Perforated and precisely balanced to ensure uniform material separation.
• The bottom is made from Mild Steel, internally lined with Rubber or Stainless Steel as per process needs.

Drive

• Drive system consists of a motor mounted on the casing, connected via V-belts with belt tensioning provision.
• Models SS-24" and SS-60" are equipped with a fluid coupling pulley on the motor shaft for smoother starts and reduced mechanical stress.

Brake

• Fitted with external shoe brakes featuring heavy-duty brake liners.
• Engineered to bring the fully loaded basket to a stop quickly and safely.
