S.S. Engineering Bottom Discharge Centrifuge is designed for efficient solid-liquid separation and is structurally similar to the top discharge model. The key difference lies in the manual bottom discharge mechanism, allowing for quicker and more convenient cake removal, saving both time and labour.

This model is a three-point suspension, under-driven centrifuge, equipped with a dynamically balanced basket and robust construction for stable and long-lasting performance.

Main Components:

Bearing and Shaft

• Heavy-duty bearings are selected to withstand vibrations and centrifugal forces.
• Bearings are enclosed in specially designed housings and lubricated with grease for extended maintenance-free operation.
• The shaft is manufactured from high-quality materials and is independently balanced without the basket for superior accuracy.

Basket

• Made from sufficiently thick material to withstand high centrifugal loads.
• The basket is perforated and precision balanced to ensure smooth operation.
• Basket bottom is fabricated from Mild Steel, with internal lining of Rubber or Stainless Steel as per process requirements.

Drive

• Powered by a motor mounted on the casing and connected via V-belts, with belt tensioning provision.
• All models are equipped with a mechanical clutch pulley at the motor shaft to facilitate smooth acceleration and efficient operation.

Brake

• Fitted with external shoe brakes lined with high-quality brake liners.
• Braking system is heavy-duty, designed to stop the basket quickly, even when fully loaded.
