Limpet Coil Reaction Vessel

The Limpet Coil Reaction Vessel is designed for indirect heating or cooling of process fluids. The limpet coil, welded on the vessel’s outer surface, enables temperature regulation using steam, hot oil, or cooling water.

LENTON ASSEMBLY

Each vessel is equipped with a precision-engineered Lenton Assembly, which includes:

• Top Tapered Roller Bearing for high accuracy and durability against impact and vibratory loads.
• Bottom Ball Bearing for smooth and stable agitation.
• Stuffing Box with integrated cooling jacket to extend gland rope life and maintain sealing efficiency.
• Gland Pusher with Gunmetal Bush Bearing to reduce friction and wear, enhancing service life.

The Lenton Assembly and Bearing Housing are fabricated using high-strength M.S. plates, ensuring structural integrity and long operational life.

LIMPET WELDING

• Limpet coil welding is carried out using high-grade filler rods that match the material of construction (MOC) of the vessel and coil.
• Welding is designed to endure the specified design pressure, ensuring leak-proof operation and long service life.
• Performed by skilled welders using TIG/ARC welding techniques to maintain weld strength and consistency.
