Overview:

S.S. Engineering offers a Pilot Scale Centrifuge with a four-point suspension system, ideal for laboratory testing, small-batch production, or R&D applications. Designed for high efficiency in a compact footprint, this model simulates the performance of larger production-scale centrifuges while handling small quantities of material.

The unit features a dynamically balanced 12 (300 mm) basket, capable of handling up to 7 liters or 5 kg of wet cake per batch.

Technical Specifications:

 Drive System: The drive system consists of a motor mounted on an inertia plate, transmitting power through a totally enclosed V-belt drive arrangement. This ensures smooth operation, reduced vibration, and enhanced safety.

Optional Feature:

Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) / Inverter Drive:

• Available on request, allowing variable speed control for process optimization, energy efficiency, and gentle acceleration/deceleration to protect mechanical components and process material.

Type of Centrifuge:

Manual Top Discharge

• In this type of centrifuge, the solid cake is manually removed from the top after the separation process.
• It is a simple and robust design, suitable for processes where manual handling is acceptable.
